and specializes in Traditional Thai & Thai Combo Massage.Established in 2005, Wat Po Thai Spa specializes in Thai Massage. Thai Yoga Bodywork, a Buddhist form of physiotherapy, is said to have developed over 2,500 years ago by the physician to the Buddha, Jivaka Kumarabhacca. Jivaka, or Shivago Komarpaj (as he is known in Thailand) is affectionately referred to as the "Father Doctor."
These remarkable teachings regarding restoration and maintenance of life have now been passed on to this generation.
Our Thai Combo massage incorporates elements of mindfulness, gentle rocking, deep stretching, and rhythmic compression,along with Swedish Massage, and Reflexology to create a singular healing experience. This brings basic elements and energy into harmony;creates wholeness of mind, body and spirit.
All our therapists work from their heart, so that every client receives the best individualized healing experience they've ever had.

Traditonal Thai Massage
Traditional Thai Massage focuses on circulation of vital energy in major pathways called "Sen". Using moderate to deep pressure, major energy lines are manipulated, and important pressure points along these pathways are stimulated to help break down blockages, stimulate energy flow, and restore balance and harmony. Thai Combo Massage Our Thai Combo Massage which integrates the elements of a Traditional Thai Massage combined with Swedish Massage and Reflexology for a unique healing experience. In Thai therapeutic massage the massage therapist develops a massage session tailored to address specific concerns a client may have, such as muscle stiffness or pain in a particular area of the body using 100% natural herbal balm to help relieve the muscle pain targeted in those specific areas. Classic Swedish Massage Classic Swedish Massage technique involves gentle manipulation using strokes such as gliding, kneading, stretching and tapping to promote circulation, relaxation, stress reduction, and general wellbeing. Deep Tissue Massage Deep Tissue Massage incorporates more focused, penetrating strokes such as compression and cross fiber friction to facilitate the release of specific muscles that are taut or knotted. Reflexology Massage Reflexology is a specific pressure technique applied to the feet. On the feet are reflex points which correspond to different organs of the body and by pressing or working on one of these points the corresponding organ is affected. Reflexology is a safe non invasive and a relaxing treatment. It's aim is to help the body to heal itself and to maintain a balanced state of health. -
